How you can help
There is no doubt at all that ESSA would not exist today were it not for the many generous supporters of the Seminary who over the years have prayed with us and given so sacrificially to support God's work here. Many of you are not even known to us individually, but your support has been vital and who can begin to measure the eternal consequences of your faithfulness?
ESSA has taken a serious financial blow over the past two years, having faced major changes in leadership and staff as well the facing these changes in the midst of worldwide economic recession. Read a more detailed appeal for financial partners here.
If you would like to partner us in this work, there are a number of ways that you can help:
- Prayer: Subscribe to our bi-monthly prayer letter and pray with us.
- Financial gifts: There are a number of ways in which you can help us financially - by supporting a particular project; by helping us with our overheads by providing salary support for a specific staff member or pledging a regular sum for a specific budget line item (eg: Repairs and Maintenance, Library etc); by sponsoring a student; or by giving us the discretion to use your gift in the area where we most need it, whether a one-time donation or a regular gift.
- Skills: Specifically we are praying for someone to volunteer their assistance in informational technology. We may be able to make use of many other particular skills and you could give us the gift of your time. In the past we have hosted guest lecturers on this basis, as well as library and educational experts, or general volunteers.
- Specific current needs: We are praying for the provision of a vehicle to take students on field work outreaches, preaching, and other ministry to local churches.
- Other: Check here regularly as we publish details of specific practical needs - for example furnishings for students residences, books etc.
